We inspect the damage, then carefully mask the surrounding paintwork so only the lens is touched.
The lens is decontaminated and degreased, and any failed factory coating is stripped back. Skip it and the sanding just drags road film through the surface.
Multi-stage wet sanding strips away the oxidised layer, followed by compound and fine polish to full optical clarity.
A ceramic UV coating locks in the finish — it's what stops the haze coming straight back. Crystal and Diamond carry a 12-month warranty.

Most cars take 45–60 minutes for a pair. Crystal and Diamond take longer because there are more lenses to do. You don't need to be involved — we work in your driveway or car park while you get on with your day.
Yes — we're fully mobile. Home, workplace, anywhere with a safe spot to park. All we need is access to the car and a bit of room to work around the front.
We're based in Maroochydore and cover the Sunshine Coast, Caloundra through to Noosa. If you're a little outside that, text us and we'll let you know.
Two things to separate here. The coating: Clear is finished with a 2-year UV ceramic coating, and Crystal and Diamond use a 3-year coating — those are the products' UV ratings. The warranty: Crystal and Diamond carry a 12-month warranty, so if they start to fade inside 12 months we re-do them free, and Diamond includes a free refresh at the 12-month mark. The coating is rated to outlast the warranty; the warranty is simply what we'll stand behind in writing.
That's the right question to ask. Headlights haze because the factory UV layer breaks down, and sanding and polishing removes whatever is left of it. If nothing UV-stable goes back on, they'll haze again within months — which is exactly what happens with DIY kits and cheap jobs. We finish every car with a ceramic UV coating, which is why we're comfortable warranting it for 12 months.
We won't tell you it's the same thing — it isn't. Restoration brings back the clarity and appearance of the lens you already have, at a fraction of what new assemblies cost. If a housing is cracked, the seal has failed or there's water inside, replacement is genuinely the better option and we'll tell you so.
Some lenses can't be saved — deep pitting, cracks, internal damage or moisture behind the lens. Text us a photo before you book and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth doing. We'd rather turn a job down than take your money for a result you won't be happy with.
